I painted this scene on my way to the McGee Creek Canyon Hiking Trails. I saw signs off the highway in the eastern Sierras and pulled off the road and drove for a bit until I saw this beautiful scene. With the aspens starting to change colors I thought it was a great spot to capture the beauty of this area.
