This is the second piece in my series from a resent cruise to the Hawaiian Islands. I was on an excursion to the Akaka Falls State Park deep in Banyan forest. It was early morning and the sun was just coming up. I was walking on a trail when this blast of sun was pushing through these Banyan trees. It was dark and mysterious, and yet an incredibly beautiful scene was before me. I had to take a shot and recreate it in my studio.
