I recently went on a day trip to a beautiful place right here in So Cal, the San Juan Capistrano Mission. I’ve come here for years and I’m always so impressed with the life and style of this historic landmark. I brought a friend that had not seen it before, it’s so impressive. This particular image was a place for meditation right next to a very old cemetery. The scene was lit at high noon. This particular structure had no roof and the contrast between light to dark was captivating. I couldn’t resist turning this shot into a painting.
