Everyone’s seen the candy machines, where you put in a quarter and a handful of candy comes out. This particular machine was at the end of the pier in Avalon and was filled with fish food, for what looked like a very long time. I was drawn to the extreme weather that this machine had experienced over the years and the “fishtails” that must have been told.
