On a recent trip to Kauai I made it my mission to take the drive up to Hanapepe Valley Lookut to take in the incredible scenery and hopefully catch it early enough in the morning to catch the sun hitting the beautiful rock formations. I painted a plein air painting of this scene and then took it home to paint this studio piece. It is a 16” x 20” original oil painting and comes in a gallery style wood frame.
